How to connect GPRS to PC ?

CONNECTING TATA DOCOMO TO PC TO ACCESS GPRS INTERNET USING NOKIA 5130:DETAILED STEPS

Here is the detailed procedure to connect Tata Docomo to PC to access GPRS Internet.

Step1:connect your phone to PC using Data cable.Here i have used Nokia 5130 XpressMusic mobile phone.Open Nokia PC Suite software.Then click on connect to internet button as shown in the image.

Step2:click on configure button

Step3:select modem.Select 5130 XpressMusic USB Modem from the list.Then press the next arrow

Step4:Select configure the connection manually.Then press next arrow

Step5:In the access point column provide"tata.docomo.internet".Then press next arrow

Step6:Press Next arrow as shown in figure

Step7:Now the device get connected automatically.if it doesnt occur automatically press the connect button(middle button) 

Step8:Your device got connected to internet.Now open your browser and enjoy access to Internet



 

 

GPRS PC CONNECTION USING SONY ERICSSON K550

First connect your phone to PC using data cable.

press on the OK button.After that click on Internet connection

then select add new connnection

You can see the connection ID option being displayed.

Enter the name of the connection

choose country and also the service provider(here Airtel Kerala have been chosen as an example).

Press on the Next button

In the connection type select GPRS.Then press next

Select NO for fall back connection creation

now you can see the Internet connection wizard.Now press Finish

now you can again see the manage your connection tab.Now select the newly created Airtel internet connection.

now you can see the internet connection being established.

Now you can open your Browser and use Internet.

HOW TO CONFIGURE AIRCEL INTERNET???

Many aircel gprs users have reported problems while connecting aircel gprs to pc using Nokia PC suite,initially i myself ran into problems.Read the below steps to know how to connect your aircel gprs to pc and browse websites on your pc.

1)Activate Aircel Gprs

I suggest you to try out Rs 14 for 3 days,before recharging the 98 for a month scheme.If you are satisfied with the connection then you can proceed by recharging your mobile with RC 98.

2)Install Nokia PC suite and Configure the connection

After installing,open 'Connect to internet' from pc suite main menu and create a new connection.Select configure the 'connection manually' option and proceed.Enter 'aircelgprs' (in some states it is aircelgprs.com,so try both)without quotes in the access point textbox and save.Now connect,if everything is alright your connection will get established.

Access Point : aircelgprs (in some states it is aircelgprs.com)
Username : blank
Password : blank
